Available in Classic and VPC
NAVER Cloud Platform provides the detailed monitoring policy feature so that Object Storage can be monitored by linking with Cloud Insight. When you apply a detailed monitoring policy to a bucket, the metrics related to API requests for that bucket are collected. The metrics so collected can be viewed in Cloud Insight. You can limit the target of metric aggregation by setting a prefix and suffix.
- You can set up to 1,000 policies for a bucket.
- To set detailed monitoring policies, the Cloud Insight subscription is required. For more details about Cloud Insight, refer to the Service > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight menus in the portal.
- The API request metrics collected through detailed monitoring policies are charged separately from the number of API requests included in the Object Storage pricing.
Metric Management page
The following describes the Metric Management page used for using the detailed monitoring policy.
Field | Description |
---|---|
① Menu name | Name of the menu currently being viewed |
② Basic features | Creates a detailed monitoring policy, displays the Cloud Insight dashboard, views the Object Storage details, or refreshes the Metric Management page. |
③ Post-creation features | Modifies or deletes the detailed monitoring policy. |
④ List of detailed monitoring policies | Views the list and information of the policies created |
Viewing the list of detailed monitoring policies
